I had a medical procedure performed in the hospital by this doctor. He never introduced himself to me, not before or after the surgical procedure. I have had enough surgeries to know that the doctors usually come to you beforehand and talk about the procedure with you, tell you its going to be like this or that. Nothing. I was the only patient that didnt have a doctor come to me, and we were all having the same thing done that day. He did not care who I was or what my injuries were. He obviously only wanted the money for the procedure and did not even follow up with me. If you are hoping to find answers, these people aren't the ones that will provide them. These "Pain Management Doctors" built me up onto incredibly high doses of narcotic medication and benzodiazepines, and when they got frustrated that my pain didnt respond favorably to their injections, nerve root blocks, and other money wasting procedures, they left me doctorless to withdraw from over 100mg of methadone (and 4 other… prescriptions that I never asked to be put on) and from one day to the next, with no weaning. The receptionist refused to put me on the phone with the doctor when i was so sick from coming off the medication that they had failed to wean me off of, and did not care that i had a seizure due to them not weaning me off of the benzodiazepines. I would rather have been in pain those 3 years than to have to be that sick ever again. I was a normal person and they turned me into a person withdrawing from drugs like a heroin addict, going to a detox center to come off the prescriptions that THEY STARTED ME ON. They had a RESPONSIBILITY to withdraw me off the medication, as is promised in the "agreement" they make you sign in the beginning, but their word is obviously not worth anything. If they are making money on you, they will continue to do so, but when you stop wanting all the injections and other procedures, they will leave you out to dry, sick as a dog. I have never been treated so poorly by staff as I have by the obnoxious and snotty receptionists at all 3 locations, every single woman that i dealt with. I have also never waited as long as I had to wait, 2-4 hours every time, to see a doctor's P.A. for less than 5 minutes. Its all about the money they can make off of you. But be careful. As sure as they left me to withdraw terribly off the high doses of medication they had me on, they'd do the same to you without a second thought. I would never recommend this facility (any of the 3) to anyone, not even my worst enemy. They do not deserve to hold the license to prescribe these medications if they do not want to deal with taking someone off of them comfortably as well. The doctors at this facility ought to be ashamed of themselves.
