Dr. Joshua Salyer, DO

Staff was rude. Wait was long. But what really was horrible is after getting a batched IV during injections I felt all the pain and was not given pain meds or any concern. After the injections didnt work, Salyer's nurse told me he said direct quote "There is nothing else we can do for you. Go to pain management". I have the recorded phone call of this too that I have saved. Did not want to try anything else and gave up on me. I have a new spine specialist now. ??

Nightmarish in that this Dr seems a natural outgrowth of a field that puts Drs. In grave fear of malpractice reprisal. Subsequent visit to replacement Dr. Showed just how myopic his experience and views are. More than anything else an example of a physician with considerably more focus on protecting his own welfare/reputation than caring for this patients welfare. He cancelled my scheduled surgery the day before wile I was on the phone ,on hold with his nurse! No words exist for properly characterizing an act like that. My duty to speak up about this guy might be one of the larger I face in my life. And yes , my wife and I are looking for a skilled attorney .

I went to Dr. Salyer with leg pain and he quickly diagnosed the pain as a result of back issues. This physician actually listens to his patients, and takes the time to explain both the problem and the treatment options. He starts with the least invasive option and sees if that works before suggesting more invasive measures (and expensive!). I would recommend him to anyone who has chronic pain!

I have heartily recommended Dr. Salyer to friends with back pain. His patience and compassionate are coupled with an ability to diagnosis back problems well. He seems confident in his abilities and is willing to progress with different treatments and tests at a good pace. He will wait awhile and see how you respond to the first tier of treatment before suggesting the high priced tests (MRI) and I appreciate that.

Stay Away from this doctor!!!

Dr. Salyer was very professional, thorough and seemed concerned for my discomfort. He did not make me feel rushed or hurried in any way. I have already recommended him to someone.
