Dr. Sawlaw is takes a no-nonsense approach to medicine. He has a deep understanding of metrics and trends and his approach to diagnosis and treatment is based on those metrics. He'll take the time to sit and discuss your situatoin and the options available to you. He'll help you weigh pros and cons and make good, grounded decisions on action to take. He'll also hold you accountable to doing your part for your health. For example, if your blood pressure goes up, but you also gained 10 pounds, he'll help you out on the blood pressure but also point out that you can help yourself by losing that 10 pounds and he expects you to do it. He's also open to natural and holistic options for treatment and will gladly discuss them with you or recommend them as he sees fit. It's not just 5 minutes, a poke and press, and a stack of prescriptions. It's true health management.

This doctor has little respect for older people. He acts like he is better than you, and he does not really want to listen to you. I really do not want to see this doctor again.

Dr. Sawlaw was extremely rude and came off very aggressive and all he did was listen to our daughters lungs, and look in her ears. No throat culture, no nose culture, he did nothing. What he did do was demean us about our vaccine choices for a good 25 minutes. Do doctors even know how to treat disease any longer, or is it all about big pharma and the kickbacks? So tired of dealing with bullies who think they are above everyone else in society.
