Dr. Joshua J. Shaw, provided exceptional care in the treatment of my pancreatic cancer. From the day he pulled a chair up to my bedside (10/14/23) and spoke the raw truth about my diagnosis, with compassion, I knew God had assigned him to my medical care. My husband, children, and I am forever grateful! Dr. Shaw, was more than just a surgical oncologist for me, he radiated a beacon of hope, and a guiding light that walked us through the darkest time of our life. The serene confidence and expert knowledge he displayed throughout the course of my treatment was inspiring – it gave me the courage to keep fighting.Dr. Shaw's capability, Integrity, and dedication to his profession is something we truly admired. Dr. Shaw is by far the best doctor I've ever seen. He spent time with me, explained things clearly and is very thorough.

Dr. Shaw and team are remarkable people. I had a very scary cancer inside of me and he helped me through the whole process. He helped diagnose me, he helped remove it, and helped to keep me sane throughout the whole process. I am cancer free today because of him. He is calm, respectful, explains things very well, and a talented surgeon. His bedside manner is excellent. He is a literal life saver and I highly endorse him.

From the first second Dr Shaw walked into my hospital room, pulled up a chair and said “Let’s talk” I knew I had the right man for the job. He performed all the necessary tests possible in order to develop a decisive plan and was confident in the result. Pancreatic cancer is on nobody’s wish list but with a doctor like him you’ve got the very best person in your corner. Although a very busy man, he made himself available and accompanied me through the entire process. Dr Shaw is a man of his word and went beyond the duties expected of a surgeon, treating me like I mattered and not just another pay-check. When I was at my most vulnerable, and in great need of some positive motivation, he made me a deal - if I’m prepared to fight for myself, he’ll fight for me too. Aside from his competence as a surgeon, I greatly appreciate the human aspect - a rare find. In summary, I’m forever grateful and somebody as wonderful as him can literally mean the difference between life and death.

Best cancer surgeon around bar none. He is a real life hero. A true credit to the human race. If you have have cancer this is the guy you should be talking to.
