Dr. Joshua Robert Silverstein, MD

The catheter ablation procedure performed on me by Dr. Silverstein and his team went perfectly, and the Mt. Carmel facility where it took place was staffed by the nicest people. Dr. Silverstein has proven to be an excellent physician with an approach that is considerate towards the patient's physical and emotional needs and concerns, and he explains everything in laymen's terms. I would not hesitate to recommend his professional services to anyone requiring this type of procedure.

Dr. Silverstein is an incredible physician!! He is very professional and competent and I particularly appreciate his bedside manner. He is very calming and reassuring especially when describing his impressions of a condition. I appreciate his approach, aggressive when needed and conservative when appropriate. I also appreciated the way he included me in the decisions toward the approach for my care.

Over 4 months ago I was diagnosed with severe afib along with aflutter. I was sent to Dr Silverstein by my cardiologist. Dr. Silverstein was very professional and detailed. He performed an ablation and since it was completed I have felt 100% better. I had no idea how bad I really was. Thank you Dr Silverstein you will be highly recommended by me!!

Dr. Silverstein took excellent care of me before/during and after my ablation procedure. He explained everything in detail about the symptoms I was experiencing, the diagnosis and recommended treatment. He listened very attentively to everything I had to say about my state of health including my heart issue and my anxiety. He was very reassuring that the ablation procedure would take care of my issues and he was right. I'm feeling much much better and I can honestly say it's because of the excellent care I received from Dr. Silverstein and his team.

Dr. Silverstein was very courteous and professional. He diagnosed my SVT and did a successful heart oblation to correct it. I have had no further problems. If I ever need a heart doctor again, he will be my first choice. Thank you, Dr. Silverstein.

I would highly recommend Dr. Silverstein! He has great knowledge of his profession. If you had to be in a situation where a Cardiologist is needed, he would be the person to work with you! He is very kind hearted and overall a great person to have on your side!!!!

I have nothing but good to report about this fine Doctor. He came highly recommended to me by my local heart doctor to perform a possible heart ablation procedure on me because of my constant Afib problem. Dr. Silverstein took caring time with me, showing me a model heart indicating where the problem was, what the procedure would be to correct the problem, etc. His patience with me kept me relaxed and he built a good confidence with me in his expertise. He was forthright in letting me know I only had a 50% chance this method would be successful. After explaining what his part would be in this effort to correct my heart problem, he left the decision up to me. I detected a fierce passion and love for his profession and specialization and immediately wanted to have the operation as quickly as possible. Because he is very good at what he does necessitated my waiting a few weeks before he could do the procedure. I am MOST grateful to this fine doctor ( and to God) for the… beautiful outcome. Dr. Silverstein is one of the best doctors I have ever seen! He's very knowledgeable and listens to his patients. However, he also knows his limitations and when to consult with a peer. I would very highly recommend him!
