Dr. Joshua Bruce Stolow, MD

I only gave him one star because I could not give him less. The doctor asks questions and only wants you to answer basically yes or no. He did not want to hear symptoms or concerns. Has no bedside manner or ability to process additional information. I was newly diagnosed with RA so I had a lot of questions and he would visibly get frustrated with me. No one on his staff smiles except the lady who takes your blood. Everyone seems miserable to be there like they hate their job. The waiting room is packed with people who had still not been seen from the early morning and he and his staff are standing back there for 30 minutes getting together a order for lunch. It took me a week after leaving his office to receive the medication he prescribed for a flare because he 'forgot' to send it over to the pharmacy. Call backs from staff take over a week. Absolutely the worst doctor and staff I have ever been to!

I agree with others. Very poor bedside manner; rushed through appointment. Office staff very unprofessional - eating in office, eating in BP area, talking about personal issues or other patients. Office area and exam rooms did not seem to be clean. Lab tech didn't follow doctor's orders and I had to have blood drawn a 2nd time to run the test ordered. Nearly tripped over lab tech's purse sitting right in front of chair. I'll be switching doctors.

Horrible bedside manner.took 3 years to get a right diagnosis, now I have another RA doc, and it seems i was on the wrong med for a misdiagnosis from Dr Stolow.

Overall I am very disappointed with Dr. Stolow. His office cancels appointments that have been on the books for months, he has horrible bedside manner and his practice has grown to the point that they are a corporation and not a caregiving facility. They hold prescriptions hostage. I am sickened every time I have to deal with this organization. The list goes on and on. As of today's date. I agree with other reviews that he is good at diagnosing, but that is as far as it goes. Staff is absolutley horrible, definitely there for the paycheck, which much be small given their skill level.

Very good at diagnosing your condition and used to be an excellent, caring doctor with a terrific staff. In the last couple of years his staff has continuously turned over and lost a great deal of quality. He has become much more enthused with research programs and money. He has always rushed through his examinations and is very poor at listening and has almost no patience. But still manages to get his diagnosis correct so far. His office help is among the worst altho there are a couple of girls who have been their for a number of years that are excellent. And his infusion people do a very poor job of good hygiene. I caught them at least twice administering the wrong amount of medication because they did not read the folder. They are also very poor at washing their hands and using antiseptics to keep the area as sterile as possible.
