My husband just had some major hernia surgery and Dr Trussell was wonderful. Really explained all he was going to do, very personable and nice. Glad our family doc referred him...nice to know a great surgeon if you need one. Highly recommended!

Went to Dr. Trussell for a colonoscopy that turned into my having to get a barium enema because the colonoscopy couldn't be completed. After stating he'd call me in a few days with the test results, which I think we all would have expected anyway, I never heard from him again. Even after I called his office and sent a couple of emails, nothing. I finally had to contact my own primary care physician to get my test results, explain what everything meant and answer some of my follow up questions. His surgical abilities... who knows. His interpersonal communication and patient care skills ... practically non-existent.

I’ve already recommended Dr. Trussell several times this week, even to to the lady who preformed my sonography today, who’d stated that she had a hiatal hernia too, and to other friends who suffer with my same condition. I haven’t had surgery yet, so I hope that goes well, but I feel very comfortable with Dr. Trussell. It is evident that he really cares for his patients, and is very empathetic. He impressed me as an amazing individual. The man has every excuse to be pretentious, considering his accomplishments at such a young age. Notably, very few have the ability to sustain high, social, standing, whilst maintaining such a humble spirit. It is truly a gift from God to maintain such a balance, and quite uncommon. I can only assume that somewhere there’s some very proud, and Godly parents, who must feel so very blessed. Whether, that is true or not, I don’t know, but it is very clear to me who this good doctor’s true father is. It was apparent the moment he walked in the room. It was… his caring and gentle spirit that said everything about him. Obviously, he’s beyond intelligent, but there’s lots of geniuses in this world. Nevertheless, there’s not many with a heart like Dr. Trussell’s.

He saw my husband after he was admitted for severe abdominal pain. He's very personable, knowledgeable and conservative. We both liked him very much. We will use him again, if needed and refer others to him when needed.

Dr. Trussell I very knowledgable and takes the time to explain the procedure with you. He follows up on you and is thorough. I would highly recommend him. He's the best.
