Dr. Joshua Remi Ward, MD

Dr. Joshua Ward is a family medicine physician with additional expertise in hospital medicine. He earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his residency training at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. With 13 years of clinical experience, Dr. Ward brings extensive knowledge to both outpatient family care and inpatient hospital settings. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Ward practices at Duke Regional Hospital and Duke Raleigh Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, along with Select Specialty Hospital Durham. His clinical focus includes managing breathing difficulties and drug allergies. He also provides care for patients with systemic lupus erythematosus, a complex autoimmune condition. Dr. Ward performs various diagnostic procedures including kidney function tests, autoimmune disease evaluations, and heart enzyme studies to help diagnose and monitor his patients' health conditions.
