Dr. Josue Dominguez Leon, MD

Denied me treatment due to liability reasons more like he didnt want to take on another low income patient. Its better for me though all of the women who I have spoken to about him say he is horrible and the waiting period to see him on a routine visit takes 3-4 hours at the least to be seen for only 5 min.s before he rushes you out so he can deal with his cash payment patients. If that's what he cares about he shouldn't be a obgyn at all. Avoid using him at all costs he isn't a good dr.

Avoid Dr. Leon at all costs. This guy likes to simply hurry through appointments and will not deliver your baby. His "Medical Group", (which he will not talk about) will most likely deliver your baby. He is very generic in his advice, uses old equipment, and will say anything to get you out of the room as quickly as possible to see the next patient. All about the $$$

staff is good . dr. leon is horrible... would not recommend to anyone.. run away before you get stuck with him.

I started seeing Dr. Leon at 6months into a high-risk pregnancy (twins). Dr. Leon did send me for lots of blood and urine tests, for the safety of myself and the babies. He personally delivered both my babies, via C-section. The anesthesiologist at Palomar Hospital did great with my epidural so I did feel lots of pressure, but no pain. My boys were born healthy at 6lbs 4oz and 6lb 14oz. (Very good size for twins) And Dr. Leon saw me afterwards during my hospital stay to make sure I was comfortable.

Dr. Leon was a male chauvinist pig. He was rude to me from the first minute he stepped in the delivery room. My doctor was off that day so I got his lame bedside manners. He delivered my child via C-section. The dosage of epidural did NOT work so I felt the entire surgery. It was not just pressure. I felt intense pain, ripping and severe jerking and pulling. He was not a gentle doctor at all. I asked 2 times if he could please slice under my tattoo, since I am a performance artist. My doctor said she could do that. So he sliced above where a bikini line is at a bad angle through my tattoo. Then he put it back together over a 1/2 inch off. Now I have severe pulling on 1 side of my abdominal muscles. I have daily pain which does not go away with massage and other therapies. It Wa truly the

Sends you for too many unnecessary tests! Does NOT explain any procedure before doing them on you! Office staff misplaces all your earlier information with no explanation, and if you have a good insurance wants to run too many ultrasounds and tests on you just because you are covered even though some tests are NOT needed! Also DOES NOT deliver his babies. Works in a group so anyone from the group can show up as your dr that day to deliver the baby! Does not relate with his patients at all..too quick in and out and does not spend time explaining any procedure or even the ultrasound! Has an OUTDATED ultrasound in his office which does not reveal anything with clarity!

Dr. Leon was good with follow up care and calls. He listened to my questions and took time to answer them all. His office staff and his hospital staff at palomar are pretty good,and caring.

I was very impressed upon my first visit. He actually listened to all of my complaints, took time to answer my questions, made sure he had the records he needed w/o making me come back for another appointment when they weren't immediately available, and is very proactive in resolving my issues.
