Dr. Joy Christine Burk, MD

My kids love her. She is so sweet, and catches issues with the kids quickly. I recommend her to anyone whenever I can. I also trust her opinion because she has never been wrong with my kids.

I love Dr. Burk. She's been my children's dr for 8 years. I think she's wonderful. She always knows what's wrong with my babies . My problem is with the staff. I think their cold and rude. I use to be able to get my kids in right away with emergencies, now I'm always getting sent to the walk in. Dr. Burk has her own practice and I think if she's getting overloaded then maybe she needs to cut back on new patients lately I feel as if I'm being rushed out of there. And I know she's busy, BUT these are our children. . The receptionists have no compassion or empathy. We are paying thier paychecks. They should remember that. A little kindness goes a long way.

Dr. Burke is a very personable doctor. My children love her and she is very good at making them feel comfortable even with some uncomfortable issues they may need to be seen for. She has worked hand in hand with me with 3 childen. Each had individual needs that she was able to address and made me and them feel comfortable and attended to. She was able to address everthing from asthma, allergies, and behaviorial issues, as well as more serious issues as a brain cyst, eye surgery, and misdiagnosis by other physicians that could have led to severe consequences in the lives of my children. Dr. Burke is like any doctor, a practicioner, but not like most in that she listens to you and will do what is best for you and your family and give you the information you need to make an informed decision regarding you child's care.

This Dr is very nice but not current in child and autism awareness if you have a child with Autism or Developmental needs do not go to this Dr she is still unaware of current issues with children and is not progressive but still chooses to just recomend old backward ways of medicine and thinking not progressive solutions to real problems. Lets keep our children healthy not ignorant.
