Dr. Joy Cheng, MD

Dr. Joy Cheng has always loved children - their passion, courage and resilience. Fascinated by science and human anatomy, she went to medical school specifically to become a pediatrician. She especially loves child development, watching and helping children grow through all stages toward adulthood.Dr. Cheng sees patients from newborns through college age for the prevention and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. She is also very interested in the treatment and management of ADHD and mental health.Viewing the medical relationship as a partnership, Dr. Cheng believes in engaging parents in decision-making. She creates a warm and inviting environment to allow families to feel comfortable asking questions or sharing any concerns. She acts as an advocate for her patients, helping them stay healthy or improve their well-being. Dr. Cheng encourages everyone to read and be curious about the world around them.Dr. Cheng and her husband enjoy traveling, especially to national parks and …internationally to learn about different cultures.
