Summary

So many people bombard us with cliches like “Life is what you make it” or “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade,” when the unexpected happens or we lose control of situations and ourselves. Not only does this usually make us feel worse and/or not heard, we usually do not know what those sayings even mean. I’m sure people typically mean well when using these phrases, however, we need practical remedies to the “cards we were dealt” in our personal lives. It’s rare that the average person listens to us, validates us, AND helps us process what’s happening so that we can wholeheartedly move on.

My passion and commitment to you are to help you heal by giving you a safe space to breathe, heal, think, vent, and process your life in a healthy way. I am here to give you tools and coping skills so that even while things are difficult, you have the support to overcome them.

Grief can come after a loved one passes away, the loss of a pet, the end of a friendship, the end of a relationship, a career, and/or a season in your life. However, you are feeling about the loss is valid. Your feelings are normal. The key is to take control of these feelings so that they do not take control of you. Even if at this moment you feel you have become a victim of these feelings and circumstances, or that they have overtaken you sometimes to the point you don’t feel anything at all, there is still hope. We all experience grief and it is different for each of us. While there are stages to grief, none of us experience it in the same order and some may not even experience all stages. Grief is unique to each person who experiences it. Together we can discover it so you can live a full life.

For more than 10 years, I have worked with children, adolescents, families, and couples. From teaching middle school to elementary school to being a school counselor and a therapist at a behavioral hospital, I have had the pleasure of learning so much about people to strengthen, encourage and educate others during life’s most challenging seasons. Including but not limited to teenagers who are giving their parents a hard time, getting the most out of the educational system, and bringing families closer together. I am here to do this for you too.

Ensuring Data Transparency and Trust: A Guide to Vitals Doctor Listings and Reviews

Our provider data is gathered directly from physicians and publicly available databases. Providers who verify their profiles gain the ability to update information, offering additional details about their specialties, education, treated conditions, performed procedures, and accepted insurances.

Reviews on Vitals are submitted by users only. Recognizing the valuable insights these reviews offer into a doctor's reputation, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Importantly, providers cannot delete or alter reviews independently. Reviews can only be deleted or changed following an internal assessment by our customer service team.

Your feedback is highly valued and we encourage you to contact our support team should you encounter any issues.
