I transferred to Dr Joy from another provider..Dr Joy has changed my life..She listens to her patients.Her staff is also great..

So I have never felt the need to complain about a service in my life, but I am so frustrated on how I have been treated at the Lakewood location where subxone is perscribed that I had to warn any new comers. Frist off of your insurance doesnt cover the program it is around 600$ plus a additional 120$ every visit. Now if suboxone does not work any dr that can perscribe it can also do methadone except dr joy because of her involvement with methadone clinics. So you better hope it works. Second dr joy is never available so you end up seeing other doctors that are not her most the time. I have had urine test that showed a false positive for benzos which means you can't get your subs. I had them sent it to a lab that proved it was a false positive and had a hidden fee of 600$ more dollars!! Then I have asked them to call in another perscription to a local pharmacy and they said no problem. When I got there to pick it up it had not been faxed over. When I called to see why the women at the… desk said there was nothing she could do and hung up on me! I have never been so frustrated! As for the staff the nurses are actually great!! Nurse richie is kind and helpful and they do the best they can. Dr joy is great in the sense that she always takes her time with you and seems to care. So if you can get over the few workers who are rude and the unbelievable mistakes then it's worth it for the few who truly do seem to care.
