Dr. Joy Catherine Tenpenny, MD

I couldn’t imagine our NICU journey without her. She did everything she could for our baby girl, but she also did all she could to help and comfort me and my fiancé while we were there. She has such a big heart and it shows. She knew all the right words to say to comfort me when she could have just ignored our emotions and do her job. She has changed our life in the way we view doctors now. We thought all doctors were the same (rude, don’t care, only wants money) but she truly does an amazing job. Thank you for all you do!

Doesn't seem very happy. Spent the bare minimum time with us discussing our baby.

While our child was in the NICU; we saw her maybe twice? Very terrible bedside manner and somewhat rude. Seems to be in the job for the quick cash. I overheard several staff stating she just stays on call most of the time and only comes in when needed. It shows.

Dr. Tenpenny was very supportive and kind. She was professional and willing to go the extra mile in finding 'the answers.' I loved that she wanted to find the root of a problem and not just medicate the sypmtoms. We're going to miss her!

She was very unprofessional & often rude. We will never go back.

Dr Tenpenny has saved our daughters' life 2 times! She is an excellent doctor and does what needs to be done in a quick manner. She goes above and beyond for your child. She is the friendliest most helpful and accessible doctor out there. Dr Tenpenny is great and highly reccommended. Thank you for all you do Dr Tenpenny. We'll never forget you!!
