Dr. Joyce Pfeifer Goetsch, MD

I was seen by this woman at American Family Care in Huntsville back in 2012. I was misdiagnosed with a condition and was sent along distraught with the results. I could have committed suicide behind those results. only to go to my primary care for a second opinion to find that she was wrong. Her incompetency and lack of updated knowledge about testing put me in a suicidal state for months.

I continue to hold a hand signed paper from Dr. Joyce Goetsch that promises she would repay me after I loaned her $1,670 to pay for her children’s 16th birthday car insurance. She NEVER made any attempt at repayment, won’t answer my phone calls to her, and in Huntsville she moved into a gated community where I was banned from seeing her. I know of someone she ripped off for $27,000 he says. A friend in my house at the same time as Dr. Goetsch saw her take brand new white sheets I just purchased.. My impression is she will give her kids the best of everything no matter what. I CONSIDER DR. JOYCE GOETSCH A THIEF. I have kid who’s had Leukemia and I NEED MY MONEY BACK. What a miserable person she is. She has had more than enough time to repay me.

She was the absolute worst "doctor" I have ever seen.

This "doctor" is severely incompetent. I was in to refill my medicine and to have some lymph nodes looked at. She refused to refill a medication that controls seizures and told me that i didnt need to be on it anymore and needed to try meditation. She was not the original subscriber either. She treated me like i was there to get drugs. She insulted me the entire time with her questions,talking to me like i was an idiot. When i asked her to feel the lymph nodes that were inflamed (i had 4) she (with a sigh) popped on a glove and said that there is nothing that she can do about it, that there was only one there. I told her there were four and she laughed saying "no there is just one". She is a horrible person and unless you want to stay sick,do not go to her.

This dr is filling in for my primary care dr amd is the rudest most uneducated person I have ever met. She took notes on my using sticky notes, would not refill my medications that I have been taking for 9 years (nothing controlled or anything. Just general meds) and I told her that I can't just stop taking them, I would end up in the hospital from withdrawal (anti-depressants) and she said well, you just need to see a psychiatrist. I said I AM OUT OF THEM!!! She doesn't care. she acts like she is the god of internal medicine but she is a terrible person. DO NOT SEE THIS WOMAN!!!!! She is a poor example to the human race.

In my visit the doctor was filling in for my primary care physican, would not help me, proceeded in changing medications that my Dr. had perscribed for me causing a huge amount of new health problems.
