You won’t find a more caring competent doctor anywhere!

I followed my nurse practioner from Encinitas to Carlsbad where she worked under Dr. Havranek. Dr. Havranek’s practice was full but she took me as a patient regardless. Since my NP moved out of state and Dr. Havranek graciously took me on. I was ungoing sugeries, had cancer and was(is still) going through a horrendous divorce. Dr. Havranek is not only a thorough and excellent Doctor, she is a very kind person. She has taken extremely good care of me and is so patient, knowledgeable and professional. She has excellent referrals when needed and makes you genuinely feel that you matter and your well-being is vital. She is the best doctor I have ever had and I recommend her whole heartedly. I cannot immagine going through all of this without her.

Dr Havronek is personable and genuinely caring without being overdone. She is very business-like but not abrupt, and knows her stuff!! Both my aged mother and I see Dr Havronek and we both like her very much.

After going over my current symptoms and reviewing my past history, Dr Havranek competently assessed my complex medical condition. I am truly grateful for her care and compassion. Her thoughtful concern has lead to a proper diagnosis and a treatment plan is currently being worked up with the Hematology/Oncology team at Green. I highly recommend Dr Havranek and her staff.

This Lady doctor has returned to me the confidence lost on doctors, she is caring, takes time to hear you, a real professional, we all need more doctors like Doctor Joyce.

Dr. Havranek is very caring. She does not push pills on her patients, which I appreciate. Getting an appointment is not hard and if she cannot see me, another Dr. at the office will. I am very pleased.

I have been seeing Dr. Havaranek for 7 months and have had to see her on several occasions. My experience has been fantastic. some of the below comments sound more like the doctor I left not Dr. Havranek. I have found Dr.Havranek is a very good listener,has a great bedside manner and has been right on the money when it comes to diagnosing me. Scripps clinic is fantastic as well. My family can always get in right away for an appt. And if our primary doctor is not available we are seen by another one of the exceptional physicians right away. The office staff at Scripps is wonderful too!

I am 65 years old and have never wanted a female doctor but thought I'd take a chance on Dr. Havranek as she was the only Internal Medicine doctor at the new facility nearby. Am I glad I did! She is the best doctor I've ever had and is always spot on with her diagnosis, care, and referrals. My husband and I feel blessed that I've finally found a physician that is so intelligent and sincerely cares about my quality of life.

After several appointments, hours and hours in the waiting room and a whole lot of misdiagnosis and lack of sense of urgency, I went to a new doctor who diagnosed me correctly on my first visit and I am feeling great! Dr. Havranek didn't seem to know anything and the problem was actually being caused by a drug she prescribed to me. She did not follow up with me after several trips to ER and never seemed to really care about my condition. I would avoid this doctor if you have a health condition.

Compassionate, smart. Would recommend to all my family and friends. Goes above and beyond.
