Dr. Joyce Spurgeon, MD

I feel like she really cared. She remembered me each time i visited and asked personal questions about my life. I didn’t enjoy being on medication but she helped me find something that worked and i appreciated her knowledge and expertise as well as when it was time to wean off and what to expect. I don’t like doctors generally but she treated me with respect and dignity. She’s a good doctor and i appreciated her help.

Dr. Spurgeon is the best psychiatrist I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to a handful. She truly cares about her patients. She’s very professional, gives great advice, is a great listener, takes you seriously, and is a straight shooter. I really respect that. There’s no sugar coating, she’s very informative, knows her stuff, and patiently answers all my questions. If you’re serious about getting help, she is the one for you!!
