Joyce Roberts, DO

She is horrible, doesn't like people, doesn't listen, makes you feel stupid, compares you to other patients and herself. Doesn't care about your health goals. Lectures you about your situation. I only go to her because she is my market place primarily care physician.

Dr Robert's is a great doctor who genuinely cares about her patients. She is not warm and fuzzy, but the health of her patient is priority and I appreciate that!

Dr. Roberts was rude, she didn't listen to my symptoms, when I explained that I had breast pain and a lump appeared. She only repeated several times that I had to go to a breast surgeon, even though I repeatedly told her to read My Chart because I had already had that appointment, referred by my PCP. No examined me even though I told her I had pain and a lump, she told me that this was not her specialty and that this appointment was only a follow-up.

Impatient, rushed, brusque and insensitive. Interrupted me describing my Hx of illness. Said I have to expect arthritis at my age and offered no suggestions.

Didn't examine the problems I had after describing them, diagnosed skin problem with asthma medication that looks very dangerous especially for people with mental health issues without explaining anything besides how to take it. Didn't believe me when I said my one of my hamstrings is torn and didn't check it herself

I was not impressed with Dr. Roberts. She immediately started to change my medication that I have had prescribed to me for years without even asking or discussing why I was taking or dosing decisions. When I asked about potential treatments that were recommended to me by urgent care providers I had seen to treat a distressing issue I am experiencing, she very rudely told me the idea was terrible. I feel she did not listen to my concerns and was very unprofessional. I will not be returning for another appointment with her, I will be making an appointment with the original provider I tried to make an appointment with. I also need to see a neurosurgeon and she could not recommend anyone. She stated she didn't know any providers and to find someone I knew. The whole experience was unsettling. I knew I could not establish primary care with her, as I felt she did not listen or have my best interest.

Brusk and hurried.

Dr Roberts was very stern and to the point. I truly like that. Definitely happy we have her as a doctor.
