JOYCE YABLUNSKY, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, PMHNPAs a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, Joyce provides mental health needs within the biopsychosocial model of care to help preserve the quality of life to those she serves. Joyce has been treating a variety of psychiatric disorders to her patients since 2012 and began service to the Geriatric population as a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner in 2007. Joyce brings with her strong clinical skills such as psychopharmacolgy, utilizing available resources, psychotherapy and uses evidence-based guidelines during clinical practice. Joyce provides empathetic care while building rapport to her patients, and families and is committed to providing the best care while establishing long-lasting relationships.A new client evaluation would consist of completing a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to identify factors that may be affecting the client's mental health, discussion of the client's …symptoms, determining the most effective plan of care for the individual together, utilizing some psychotherapy modalities and medication management for various mental health disorders. Each patient is treating using a holistic approach and care that is individualized to meet the needs of the client through the initial assessment.
