Dr. Soltis came to the United States for a vacation over 14 years ago and decided to make it his home. He enrolled in undergraduate studies at the University of Massachusetts where he majored in Bio-Technology.
After graduating from dental school in Boston, Dr. Soltis served in the U.S. Air Force practicing dentistry at Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C.;
Aviano Air Base in the Italian Alps; and F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming. While in the Air Force, he developed advanced surgical, endodontic, and restorative dental skills.
Upon leaving Cheyenne, Jozef and his wife, Laura, chose to settle in the Atlanta area with their two daughters, Sofia and Olivia, and their Golden Retriever, Dante.
Dr. Soltis loves the outdoors! When he isn't treating patients at DentFirst you might …find him playing tennis, hiking, cycling, or mountain biking. Besides English, he can converse with you in his native Czech, Italian, as well as most of the Slavic languages!
Additionally Licensed by the State of Georgia Board of Dentistry so that he can offer "Sedation" to his patients who need special calming during dental procedures.
Fluent in English, Slovakian, Italian and Slovenian.
