They lied about submitting claims for her crowns and she ended up paying the whole cost. She was also pushed to buy higher end crowns. This was discovered when she filed a complaint with CMS/Medicare and they informed her that this dentist never submitted the billing code for basic crowns for reimbursement. The insurance informed her it is her word against their word. One visit, she received anesthesia that day for the procedure. They then said she needed X-rays for pre authorization and they asked her to leave bc they had to wait for approval. They called her back and told her none of it was covered and will she pay the full price. She declined and started to file a complaint. CMS informed her there is no such documentation of a pre authorization submission. There is no chart documentation that she received local anesthesia.
