Dr. Juan Manuel Alvarez, MD

Dr Alvarez has been my PCP for over fifteen years. I loved his demeanor, friendliness and Capable attitude from our very first meeting. Over the years, I have become more and more in awe of his Expertise !! He has treated every one of my Maladies, successfully. I have never ever thought about seeking a ‘ second opinion’. I recommend him HIGHLY !!

Dr. Alvarez is a great doctor. His bedside manner is impeccable. He's very caring, never rushes me. Always listens to everything I have to say. Very thorough. Don't understand another comment left on this board. I have had Dr. Alvarez for years and that description of him is just not true. His staff on the other hand, have to be the rudest, most inept bunch I have ever seen. They practically scream at you in person and on the phone, if you can even get them to answer the phone. They never relay correct messages to the doctor, constantly mess up such things as simple as faxing and order. He needs to get all new people who will work with his patients instead of against them. But, as for the doctor himself, a class act.

Alvarez is a HORRIBLE doctor. He misdiagnoses his patients and lets them suffer and then he gets offended when you tell him that you are going to get a second opionion. Any truly good Dr. will welcome a second opionion and not let his ego get in the way of his patients well being. Shame on you Alverez for treating your patients so poorly...it's time for you to retire.
