Dr. Juan Alzate

Dr Alzate performed a very difficult tumor resection on my 21 year old daughter. Was a very scary time for us. He was absolutely wonderful. Once you got used to his accent, you could understand him. He put us at ease and everything went exactly the way he said it would. Highly recommend him!!!!

I can now walk without pain. Dr. Juan Alzate removed the arthritis that was chocking a nerve in my spine . This was done as an out patient procedure. It was a very good experience, no regrets what so ever. Scott K.

I was in severe psin and could not get oot of bed without pain. The spinal surgery was a complete success and I have no pain in my back.

After 3 failed spine surgeries Dr Alzate performed a miracle for me. For over 2 years I was in such pain that I couldn’t walk and I cried every time I had to get out of bed and a good portion of the day. I am now totally without pain. My husband can’t believe it and, of course, neither can I. He’s a life saver.

Bad bed side manner, rude, felt he blamed others for everything and that he was the best. My chart was incorrect, has wrong information. He is rude and doesn't listen.

For 4.5 months I was in increasing agony. With loss of appetite, I shed over 30 lbs. Finally I was referred to Dr. Alzate. Due to my heart problems and waiting for insurance approval, it took a month before the surgery could be performed. I had nothing to lose. I woke and could stand erect for the first time in 4.5 months!

He did a good job as far as I know. Just wish my scar was not as wide as it is, but then maybe that was the best that could be done . I appreciate the care that I had when I was in the hospital at Zion Illinois. Thank you to everyone who took care of me.

I started having problems 3 weeks after surgery, my primary care doctor called Dr. Alzate and left 3 messages that were never returned. I had a new MRI which showed that the same disc had herrinated again, I had the results sent to Dr. Alzate, never received a call, I called the office for an appointment and was told I could not be seen for 3 weeks, this was less than a month from the original surgery. Called another doctor got in within a week and had to have the surgery again. I would never recommend this office, very uncaring doctor and staff.
