Dr. Juan Carlos Angelats, MD

I really don’t know where to begin. Both my husband (who’s a Physician) and I were thoroughly impressed by Dr. Angelates. His bedside manner, listening skills, interest in my health and our baby’s, and his comforting demeanor was superb. As a first time, soon to be mom, at age 48, I appreciate this kind of patient care. He’s one of a kind.

I went through a Pre-term delivery in my 6th month. Unfortunately, Dr Juan Angelates was on duty that weekend. We were already heart broken and to top it Dr. Angelates made it worse by his attitude and rudeness. When he came into the delivery room he did not even have the courtesy to speak to me or my husband. It seemed like because of my emergency we ruined his weekend and he's mad about that. The entire delivery he did not talk to us at all and if i would say I'm in pain he would fold his hands and stand away and roll his eyes and not say a word like a 2 years old child. He was extremely unprofessional. Not once did he speak to us in those 24 hours. He was extremely arrogant, rude and had no empathy towards his patient. It's been over 4 years but I still can't get over his rudeness. I honestly feel he shouldve never been in healthcare field with this attitude that he has towards his patients when they're in distress.

I like that he listens and respects my autonomy as a woman. Decisions for my health are made with me not for me.

Very knowledgeable and compassionate doctor. Always takes the time to go the extra mile for his patients.

I love Dr Angelats. It is hard to find a good doctor and I feel he is one of the best. He is caring about his patients and really helps and gives you confidence. He is never judgemental and really just wants to help you feel better. He is on top of his knowledge in his field and takes the best steps that works est for his patients.
