Dr. Juan Camilo Arevalo, MD

I had Dr. Arevalo as a physician for five years and he was exceptional. Unfortunately, I moved away and could no longer go to him. Young Physicians coming out of medical school need to remember to listen, care and get involved with their patients. DON'T be afraid to treat the entire body. Always always listen to your patients needs. Don't listen to some government entity trying to pull your strings. Listen to the older Physicians. They've seen a lot. Dr Arevalo is a very good physician whom many young medical students could take something from.

Dr. Avarelo is exceptional. A recent transplant to PGH, I had an awful experience with a different Dr., resulting in debilitating pain to my neck and shoulder (on which I have had multiple surgeries) following an exam and unnecessary manipulation of my old injuries. Dr. Avarelo listened to me, explained options thoroughly, is highly intelligent, was compassionate and was able to promptly relieve my pain, his staff is 5â­?. I wish he could be my regular care physician. A true blessing in Western PA
