Dr. Juan Benitez, MD

My first visit with Dr. Benitez was great. He was very friendly, patient and answered all of my many questions with great clarity during the consultation. He treated me as if I was the only Patient he had that day. I knew if my procedure went as well as the consultation, I would be truly happy and it did! When he followed up with me in Recovery, he was still very friendly, patient and thorough. A big thank you to him!

My husband & I are both very happy with Dr Benitez. He is extremely professional, bright & knowledgeable, yet, down to earth, friendly, caring & an excellent communicator.

He was the Dr assigned to me while I was at Parkwest Hospital. Not one that I was able to research myself prior to seeing him. RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL. Wouldn't listen to me or my concerns or explain the details of my GI test. Got way off track and focused on a medication that I take for asthma (prescribed by my pulmonologist). He told me repeatedly I did not need to take it.

If you need help with anything other than a routine colonoscopy then this doctor is not for you. I had more than just a routine problem and he had no idea how to help me and worst didn't even try or follow up.

Very thorough and careful doctor; diagnosed my stomach problems efficiently and I'm much better now.

Saw him when I was admitted at a hospital. He was very rude. Told me his name and then told me he thought I was fine before I even had a chance to say hello. I had to answer the same questions two or three times. He never told me anything. He just drilled questions at me and never listened to one word that came out of my mouth. By far the worst doctor I've ever talked with. It didn't sound like he knew much about the pancreas to me.
