Dr. Juan Rene Frontera, MD

I was having problems emptying my bladder. He ordered several tests, one I was able to take the same day at his office the other two had to scheduled which went smoothly.

Dr. Frontera is excellent. I and my family really trust and like him. But I think MIU is working him ragged. MIU kept me waiting an hour and 30 minutes to see Dr. Frontera on my last visit and he saw several people ahead of me AFTER my scheduled appointment time.

Staff was very professional and helpful. Dr. Frontera seems caring, knowledgeable and easy going. The wait was a little long, but the office seems really busy which indicates to me that a lot of people hold this practice in high regard, which can’t be a bad thing. Overall, I would always choose to come back so that’s a thumbs up from me.

I waited in the exam room over 45 minutes. When Dr Frontera finally arrived, he asked how I was feeling. I described my current symptoms. He said all of that sounded pretty normal, urinalysis was fine and PSA was good. Had staff do a bladder scan and said 'see you in a year'. Not much talking or insights. Disappointing.

Been a patient for almost 25 years. I love Dr. Frontera’s casual but kind and informative approach. Listens and answers. He’s guided me through several medical situations over the years, including cancer.
