Dr. Juan Manuel Latorre, MD

I went to see Dr Latorre as he was recommended highly by friends who were apart of the amputee community. However, his staff waited a very long time to run my insurance. I get a new insurance carrier from my work the new year, well several months pass and suddenly I have debt collectors hitting me up for 400$. I called his office and the staff informed me that they would take care of it, and that the insurance should have been billed ages ago. Well they didn't take care of it, so I had to pay 400$ so my credit wouldn't take a hit as I was trying to close on a house. If his staff had processed my insurance when I provided it, my checkup would have cost me 20$ or less. Honestly I will never go back, it's not that Latorre is a bad doctor at all.. it's just his staff at St. David's screwed me over for 400$. They were lazy, they never notified me, they said they would take care of it and didn't, and I got shafted. I will not take down my reviews until they refund me my money. If you are… reading this, then they have not taken care of the issue. If they reply to this, and it is still up and online, then they didn't do anything meaningful to help me.

I have been seeing Dr. L for several years, and adore him and his practice. If you have the opportunity to be his patient, take it!

Dr. Latorre has been my spinal cord specialist since my accident over 4 years ago. He has been most attentive and caring. He is always available to answer my questions, to write orders for therapy or medications. His office staff are always helpful and friendly. I would not trade him for anyone else.

The most memorable part of my most recent office visit with Dr. Latorre was his interest in my recovery and his expertise in diagnosing my current situation and progress. Dr. Latorre is professionally progressive and offers new ideas and techniques to enhance my recovery process.

Dr. Latorre is extremely qualified and insightful. I have made incredible progress with my rehabilitation, after having surgery, under Dr. Latorre's care. He spends a lot of time with me during my office visits and answers all of my questions thoroughly and patiently. I am so glad that my surgeon referred me to Dr. Latorre. He is a great doctor!
