Dr. Juan Bosco Martinez JR., MD

Since I was 6 years old I’ve been with Dr. Martinez and all I can say is that he is a wonderful doctor. Now I am 13 and I can count on him any time I need to get checked up or just for a visit! He is a very caring, smart, funny, and empathetic Doctor. Two years ago, he noticed that I had a problem with my glucose. With his help, I was able to overcome that obstacle and become a healthy, strong 13 year old boy. I would also like to thank Nelly and Claudia for being there for me whenever I needed them. You may have to wait to see him but Dr. Juan B Martinez is worth waiting for. He truly is the best pediatrician in all of S FL!

The doctor and his staff are great but the wait time is horrible that is the only issue.

The Dr.Martinez and his staff are the best!!!! His office is always busy because he is the best! He loves the families who see him and goes out of his way to help your child get the help they need.

Originally from Weston, my wife and I were refered to Dr. Martinez after our 1 yr old son was misdiagnised by another doctor and landed in the hospital for 6 days with pneumonia.  Immediately following release,  Dr. Martinez discovered my son still had an ear infection and symptoms of asthma.  We continued to see Dr. Martinez for another year until a job transfer relocated us to Orlando.  After 2 years of deplorable medical care in Orlando,  my wife and I decided to drive to Weston from Orlando in order to have are son continue to be treated by Dr. Martinez. Dr. Martinez provides trustworthy and prompt medical attention, advice, and options.  He is thorough,  comprehensive and concise.   He fosters a wellness plan far beyond the immediate care he provides.  He treats his patients (the little ones) with kindness, care and empathy.  Our son feels involved in his treatment and is seldom frightened or intimidated.  My wife and I experience a sense of confidence and… certainty when we leave the office.

I am a mom of 5 homeschool children. I can't say enough great things of Dr. Martinez. He is compassionate and caring. I WISH he was my personal doctor! He takes the time to spend with each of my children, especially if I schedule all of them at the same time due to lack of a babysitter. I have been blessed to know a kind doctor like Dr. Martinez. Not only is he a great doctor but a knowledgeable one with great bedside manners to both the child and the parent.I have been one of those parents with concerns on vaccines issues, and Dr. Martinez has been patient with me and my questions and many concerns. He has been more than a help to my family but a huge sigh of relief to questions that have been of great concern with us.If you have to wait a long time, it's due to his compassion for a patient that needs the care at his time. I would rather wait than have to go Pediatrics Associates (AKA to me as McPed Doctors). You will not go away disappointed from their office. I have called in short… notice when my children have been ill, and have been scheduled in. I also have been scheduled in numerous times for all 5 with no problems. Dr. Martinez is the absolute best!! He takes time to listen to you, your needs and concerns as well as taking the time to properly examine your child and he is always warm, kind and affectionate. Yes, you wait a long time but it's well worth it. He is absolutley the gretest doctor, I only wish he treated adults becuase I would be his #1 patient. No doctor or office is perfect but he is pretty close.
