Made my child feel like a freak. didn't seem to care, no compassion or bedside manor

Medina wouldn't let me speak. He was constantly interrupting me and would not allow me to discuss my problems in any kind of substantive detail. I'd start to talk about my depression (as well as other issues) and, literally a few words in, Medina would cut me off and speak on basic psychological concepts so layman in nature that they are taught at every community college and were only tangentially related to what I was actually going to say. This happened over and over from the start of the appointment to the end. Even worse, he repeatedly kept downplaying my insecurities and concerns. At one point, he suggested that my poor experiences with previous medications were the result of my own negative thinking as opposed to any problem with the medications themselves. My file wasn't even reviewed by him beforehand. He is uncaring, unsympathetic, condescending, and unhelpful. One visit was enough. I left in tears and in disbelief. Avoid at all costs.

Dr Medina mostly talked to my son, which was very enlightening! After all he is the patient. the Dr spent an extrodanary amount of time and seemed to really connect w/my son. didnt spend any time talking physco babble,and didnt expect us to "couch" visit on a weekly visit,only as needed, LOVE DR MADINA!!!!!

Very distracted. Nice enough but not engaged at all with what he was doing. Took 3 phone calls about personal matters while we were in session. Saw no reason to go back.
