Juan Riestra-Cortes, MD

I spent two agonizing days with Dr riestra. He came in to talk to me I was in 30 seconds walked out. A moment later he came in and yelled "You are a drug addict and stopped taking the celexa". He stopped all my medications cold turkey. Good thing I was accustomed and not addicted to the pain meds I'd been on 17 years. He put me on an antibiotic for no reason, I got horrible diarrhea. Hearing this, he said "Good. You need to be cleaned out and punished". When I was transferred, he wrote on the ambulance form that I stabbed someone. This was a criminal lie. He should be in jail for falsifying medical documents and physically and emotionally abusing patients in his care.

Will not call patients back. Good luck getting through to anybody other than answering service. Awful.

While being in psychatric unit for eight days any problems I had Dr.Riestra was there to listen and help in any way he can.
