Dr. Juan Carlos Roman, MD

I went to Dr. Ramon 2 years ago and I was a IME to start with. He said he would treat my pain. For a few months he gave me 1/4 of what I had been on and couldn't stand the pain. He put me on Buprenorphine and my body rejected it. For 2 years I shook and had sweats. He would not budge. He would tell the Work Comp how good I was doing and I adjusted well with my treatment. I was going for mental care as I was wanting to die from the pain, Finally I was given a new Doctor and am finally not shaking. Several visits I had 2 to 3 hour waits. One visit was 5 1/2 hours. They left me in a room and treated patients around me. He does NOT treat Pain he treats everyone the same. Beware PS the staff is great.

Does. Not listen to his patients! Uses methods that will hurt you. Does not provide proper pain control! This is all true!

Dr Roman is a great doctor Ive only been to him twice but he has really help get me out of alot of pain.He knows what hes is doing He is very friendly and a very nice man to talk to,he listens to you.So glad I found dr Roman.

I waited 8 weeks for appt, then 3 more weeks for injection. I was informed the day of my procedure that he was out of network I was previously told by office staff that he was in network. Had to start all over with another doctor.

My procedure went well. It took a few days for relief to kick in, but I am awaiting my next appointment with Dr. Roman. Thanks to the nurses also who were very professional while working with Dr. Roman.

First time seeing a Pain Dr and I am so glad it was Dr Roman. First Dr to tell me what my neck pain is probably from and did a treatment /Nerve Block on the spot. Feeling better and he listened to me and actually spent the time to get a good picture of what was going on. Most Drs you wait forever in their waiting room and your LUCKY if they are in the room with you for 5 mins. You will wait to be seen here but it is because he actually doesn't run in and out in 5 mins TOTALLY worth the wait.

I liked him. What he said made sense.

Dr. Roman & staff treat Workers Comp patients MUCH differently than their regularly insured patients. He is there to 'get you back to work', which is great if you're physically ready. The WC insurance company switched me from my regular doctor purposely because my regular doctor knew I wasn't ready to go back and they knew Dr. Roman would send me. For the record, I'm a very hard worker and would rather be at work than laid up in pain, I have had back surgery before and recovered and went back to work for many years before this recent accident so I'm not lazy, I'm in pain.

Dr. Roman was very informative about my experience with him. Very good bed side manner. I was nervous about my procedure, after talking to Dr. Roman, I was at ease. Would recommend him for a pain doctor.
