I saw Dr Ruiz a few years ago for severe RT shoulder he was excellent from all aspects. I had a steroid injection. He did a great job, was very caring and professional. I’m seeing him again tomorrow based on my experience with Dr Ruiz and he was great.

Was unable to address my chronic pain with an open mind. On my initial visit he did not even do a physical exam to assess my specific case. He came into the appointment with a plan set forth and didn’t listen to my concerns. I had heard these complaints from other patients treated by Dr Hurtarte, but went into the appointment with an optimistic attitude that those opinions might have been unfair. He prescribed a medication to me used to treat ACUTE pain, which I have been in moderate to severe pain for the past 13 years. In addition, I have documented high blood pressure, which is a side effect of the medication he prescribed. I feel if he wants to work in naturopathic medicine, Watersedge is not the location for him, as we as patients are suffering because of it.
