Dr. Juana Hilda Brehmer, MD

I am writing this review as a mother who feels a responsibility to speak up about my experience. In my opinion, this doctor provides very rushed and impersonal care. She appeared to run multiple rooms at the same time, and it often felt like patients were not given the time and attention they deserved. Concerns were not thoroughly investigated, and the approach felt minimal. I was especially troubled by the lack of proper medical evaluation in my son’s case. He was never sent for blood work or any comprehensive testing to rule out underlying conditions. Instead, prescriptions were given without what I believe was sufficient investigation. Antibiotics were prescribed frequently for minor issues. My son is no longer alive. My son later passed away from diabetic ketoacidosis. I cannot say what a full and careful medical evaluation would have changed, but I will always question whether more thorough care, proper testing, and closer attention could have made a difference. For context,… this doctor is now retired but still owns the clinic located in East Boca Raton, near Boca Raton Regional Hospital. I am sharing this so that other patients and parents understand the importance of advocating for proper testing, careful evaluation, and being fully heard.

I have been with the same Dr for my child since birth. she has always been great with her , always patient, and always a pleasure to visit this office, as the office staff are very great with her as well. :)

I am looking for a pediatrician as my baby will be born in the next week or two. The receptionist English was poor but the first question is if I will have my child vaccinated and I replied that I am unsure and she said the doctor does not accept patients that will not be vaccinated.

the bestest pediatrician ive ever had for my baby. im so glad that i found her . she's very nice, and takes her time to answer all my questions. i never feel rushed. And her staff is also very curtious and friendly!! :)
