Dr. Juanita D Wyatt-Hathaway, MD

I stumbled on this doctor while doing research and noticed extreme highs an lows in her reviews. It lead me tip wonder if the doctor's race had anything to do with the negative ratings she received. Though I'm not a patient of Dr. Wyatt-Hathaway I have seen this kind of evaluation discrepancy before and it usually stemmed from racial bias and lack of understanding of the role a doctor plays in scheduling and/or care a patient receives prior to seeing each patient. If you have issues with standard of care I'd suggest you address them at the time of your visit instead of hiding behind anonymous posts.

Since I have visited both Dr. Juanita Hathaway and her staff is not so pleasant and the communication is horrible. It was my 2nd visit and both times there was miscommunication. I was told to call in to have an ultrasound when I have my menstrual. I missed a month so I called the office to advise if I should still wait. The nurse told me to come in. Upon my arrival, Dr. Hathaway proceed to tell me that she indicated that I should come once my menstrual arrive but since I've insisted on coming anyway she can do it the ultrasound but I'll have to come back again. I said I didn't insist I've just mentioned to the nurse my concern for skipping a month and because I have pain, I was concerned. She was rude about it and kept saying what the nurse stated that I've said. She didn't seem too concern and the records were not read correctly. Mores o, her nurse was incredibly rude and tried to give me a prescription which probably wasn't authorized and the doctor never mentioned. Horrible bedside… manner and communication. If I have one thing to say that was good, I would say the process to schedule a visit and waiting was good.

OB patient. Went in for emergency pains in late pregnancy. Called Dr on-call for my practice and was encouraged to come to hospital for symptoms. She didn't show up for almost 3 hours to do more than repeat the questions the nurse asked me. Terrible bedside manner. Rude, dismissive, and did not respect patient concerns or rights. Did not consider multiple approaches or causes for my pain. Had to refuse further care and wait for next shift MD to finally assess me and my baby. Got proper treatment from the next doctor and nurse.

This Person Juanita Hathaway is very UNPROFESSIONAL an RUDE has the worst bedside manner I have ever seen. I will NEVER be back or Refer ANYONE to her

My appointment was at 11:15. I reached 10mins before time and was taken in promptly. I was asked to undress and cover myself with a piece of paper and was made to wait for more than 1 hour. Dr Hathaway as usual acting busy came in and apologized. It was the most disgusting experience and Dr Hathaway was callous and did not care if we made a complaint and was absolutely unprofessional. I made the biggest mistake of my life going to this unprofessional and totally useless hospital.
