Dr. Jubilee Brown, MD

Dr. Brown is exceptional in her field and a real trooper in surgery!! My surgery was scheduled for 2pm but the person in front of me ran into complications. Dr Brown stayed with that patient for a total of nearly 10 hours and then still stayed to complete my surgery that took until nearly midnight! I was not that frustrated for having to wait nearly 7 hours because I know if that were me I’d want that level of care also! And I got that same level of expertise and care when I did finally go into surgery! She is so knowledgeable and cares for her patients! She was very thorough from start to finish of the whole process and put both mine and my husbands concerns to rest! THANK YOU DR BROWN!!! You’re an amazing Dr and surgeon!!

I was referred to Dr. J. Brown by a specialist at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles, my Dr. there assured me I would be in good hands with Dr. Brown. Not only did Dr. Brown fit me into her busy schedule but she was caring she took time to explain everything, answered all my questions and made me feel I was indeed in the right place for my surgery. I would absolutely trust Dr. J. Brown with any recommendations she gives. I am in her hands.

Dr. Jubilee Brown was very comforting when I was going through my ordeal. She performed the surgery and the outcome was great. She helped me with every concern or problem I had regarding my pain management and incision. She visit with me every day of my hospital stay and told me if there was anything I needed she would be here to help. I highly recommend her to any woman. I now am a mother of an 8 year old daughter and a bundle of joy on the way! Thanks Dr. Jubilee Brown for being the great doctor that you are!

Horrible front office staff. Don't take or return phone calls. Staff talks negatively about patients in ear shot of other patients. Physicians Assistant is "sadistic" and laughs that they cause you concern by making you wait weeks after test results are available. Average wait time is more that 2 hours (no other patients) and you wait hours while the nursing staff stands around gossiping.

Experience from 2013. Many 1 1/2 hour waits just to get into the room to wait another half hour. Front office staff was extremely unprofessional. They spoke negatively about patients IN FRONT of other patients! I'd call about my cancer results and not receive a return call for weeks. Once you get to see the doctor, everything is fine....but who has time to spend 3 hours for a visit?

Choosing a doctor during a medical emergency can be the scariest feeling in the world, especially for a person like me, who generally does not put a lot of trust or faith in doctors. Usually doctors are very cocky, Iâ??m just glad that the doctor who referred my wife and me to Dr. Jubilee Brown was humble enough to explain that her experience and qualifications would match our needs for the best doctor within that field. The doctor that referred Dr. Brown was not our doctor he was a doctor at the hospital he overheard my wife and I getting rejected by another doctor (seen over 10 by that time). He explained to us how arrogance in a field thatâ??s predominantly male would interfere with Physicians referrals and getting patients to the most qualified Physician. Today I have a beautiful son and a daughter on the way (which was deemed Impossible by every doctor Except Dr. Brown), thanks to that doctor referring us to the best doctor I know Dr. Jubilee Brown. Today I can honestly… declare any female dealing with cancer there is no better choice when choosing a doctor than Dr. Jubilee Brown. Anytime you have more than one doctor working with a patient certain thoughts or ideas for the patientâ??s benefits are not verbalized, nobodyâ??s fault itâ??s impossible. With Dr. Jubilee Brown being both OB/GYN along with teaching and training Cancer Physicians at M.D. Anderson should put her on the top of any list when choosing a doctor, especially for a female dealing with Cancer. I mentioned that my wife had the procedures, not me, but Iâ??m writing the review, because during one of the worst years in our lives we dealt with lots of doctors, hospitals and specialist and no one except Dr. Jubilee Brown could explain what my wife was going through or needed in a way that we could understand except Dr. Jubilee Brown. She was not just a doctor trying to talk over our heads to show off her vocabulary, in fact at any time she would utter the most complex procedures to a Physician and turn to us and break it down so that we understand the procedure and why of if itâ??s necessary. These along with too many more reasons are why I; a person not comfortable with doctors and not the patient that received the medical services submit this review. My wife wrote a great review but I had to express my thanks for Dr. Brown for remembering that Cancer is not just between the doctor and patient, she explained every test and procedure as if I were the patient. Thank you for saving my wifeâ??s life, for making it possible for us to have children, and for being educated enough to handle cases that many doctors ran from while at the same time being humble enough to sit an explain detailed procedures to scared husband in the waiting room.
