Dr. Judith Amy Brown, MD

We had been seeing (and loving) another doctor in this practice for several years with my oldest. Doctor Brown came to my room during hospital rounds after my next pregnancy, and it was enough to make me leave the practice. We asked about a concern that runs in my family (tongue ties), and not only was she not helpful, but she basically vowed to not let anyone help us. She was so intimidating that I was afraid to go back to the office to see her. I do not recommend Dr. Brown.

Having a baby that surprised us with a life threatening birth defect is challenging; Dr. Brown kept our baby alive after birth, referred us to the correct facility for assessment and treatment, thereby saving our daughter's life. Follow up care has been outstanding, allowing our daughter to develop to her full potential through pediatric years and adolescence. Dr. Brown's excellence in diagnosis guided us as challenges developed. We feel very fortunate to have had Dr. Brown on our side right up to college when my daughter transitioned to adult care! The staff is wonderful, and made sure my daughter was seen appropriately in emergencies. We will always be grateful for the quality care we received for both of our children, but will never forget the dedication that helped us cope with very special circumstances.

Dr. Brown is very blunt and not interested in listening to your concerns. She convinced me to try and force my child to eat solids and 18 mos old even though he seemed to be choking every time I tried. She suggested I give him no formula or cereal until he ate solids. After half a day and watching my son in misery, I finally fed him formula and got a 2nd opinion. Turns out he had a swallowing disorder. I will never go back to her office again. She is very much a one size fits all doctor and my children are not one size fits all, nor are yours.

I am a first time mom, things worry me of course. I love how Dr Brown is straight to the point. She doesn't B/S or tell you what you want to hear if it isn't true. If you want a Dr that is Blunt and tell's it as it is then she is your dR. I have seen all Dr. at the facility and I have to say me and my Husband love seeing Dr Brown. It good to know that my son will be well taken care of.
