Getting an appointment is next to impossible. Call in, leave message, then sit back and wait.Second visit was much better than 1st and jury is still out on the 3rd (still waiting for appointment call back).

Just wanting you to know that I believe Dr. Dunipace is a very nice Doctor she is very understanding and truly listens to you and asks extremely good questions to get a good grasps of your problem. I appreciate her very much.

Overall experience was not good. Forget it if you have a question. Nurse is not very polite when returning phone call seemed to be put off when you ask a question. Didn't bother to ask for medicine allergics to when she offered her suggestions for your problem. A little concern in her voice would have went a long way.

Ive experienced back pain for 5 months now and saw Dr. Dunipace for the first time in December. I had to wait in line for 10 minutes just to check in while the receptionist chatted with another patient. There were 3 other people behind me waiting to check in as well! Absolutely unprofessional! It was another 45 minutes before I was called back and another 30 minutes sitting in a room waiting for her. When she finally came in the office, she appeared disinterested as if she was preoccupied and didnt want to be there. She engaged in very little conversation, diagnosed degenerative disc disease (but sounded unsure) and then recommended a cortisone epidural. Overall, she was very uninformative, offering little information and gave me a sense that she really didnt care about helping me manage my pain. I had the procedure a week later, and was put in a room for 15 minutes afterwards. I expected someone to speak to me about how I would feel, what the next steps would be and discuss how… to manage the pain until the cortisone worked. Instead, a nurse just came in and told me I could leave. I was a little stunned at the lack of interaction and concern and asked what I was supposed to do about the pain. She told me to go see my family doctor, that Dr. Dunipace doesnt prescribe pain medication. She practices pain management fore petes sake! If she doesnt want to practice the whole realm of pain management, she should at least inform her patients of what to expect at the very beginning. After three weeks, I felt no relief and called back to find out what to do next. I was hoping my disappointment might have been due to being in pain, so I at least wanted to follow through. I was told by a nurse we would try another injection for facet joints. Again, I was put in a room for 15 minutes after the procedure to recover and then told I could leave. It was not explained to me that the procedure was diagnostic and if it worked, I would not feel any pain immediately following the procedure. Someone should have followed up before I left to see if that was the case. But instead I went home wondering what to expect. After several days of no relief I decided it would be best to have a follow up appointment with Dr. Dunipace to discuss my frustration and hopefully get a better understanding of what was going on. Did I get an appointment? NO!! I was told she didnt do follow-up appointments and that I needed to speak to the nurse! This is absolutely insane. What kind of doctor is unwilling to meet with her patient to discuss concerns? This office is totally unprofessional, lacks personal attention and is very poorly managed. You have never experienced feeling like a number in a revolving door before until you see Dr. Dunipace and her staff. Three things should keep you away from this office: Lack of concerned care, their inability to communicate, and their unwillingness to follow up. I strongly advise to stay away from this practice.

On my initial appointment I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes to see the doctor. It was over 1 hour before I saw a nurse. Dr. Dunipace never appologized for the wait. She did not appear interested in my concerns or taking my medical history. She advised a steroid injection for me without giving me other options. She did not clearly explain the procedure, therefore I called back to talk to someone else about the procedure and could only talk to a nurse who did not take my concerns seriously. After the injection I experienced worsened pain at a higher intensity for over a week after the injection. When I called to voice my concerns, they said that I should wait it out, despite my inability to function within my daily life. They advised me to call my family doctor as Dr. Dunipace's office did not allow me to come back in for follow up. If you choose Dr. Dunipace, make sure you have all the information before agreeing to a procedure! Also be more assertive than I was and demand your questions… get answered!!

Dr Dunipace was my sister pain management doctor. This doctor's way of treating patient's is to not trust them. Yell at family members. yell at my sister. Accuse My sister (who has been dealing with cancer for the last year) Of abusing drugs. MY sister doesn't even drink. Has never done drugs. Until they were prescribed after her surgery. My sister has been made to feel like she a liar and a dishonest person. This is my family. They have been through so much this last year. This doctor is verbally abusive. You are supposed to help people. You are a mean person. shame on you Dr dunipace.
