Dr. Judith Jackelyn Faria Briceno

This review is for the staff and not the doctor as I was not able to see the doctor. My primary care doctor sent an authorization and successfully received approval for my treatment with this doctor at this facility on December 17,2025 from my insurance company. On Monday (1/12/26) I had not received a call from this office to schedule a new patient appointment so I called at which time I was told that they had not received anything and that I needed to contact my pcp office and have them fax the referral to the fax number THEY provided. So I did just that and my pcp office (of which I've been a long standing patient of and have complete faith in) confirmed they had done as requested on Tuesday (1/13). I then called the office on Wednesday (1/14) morning and was told they would check with the referral department and would call me back (NEVER happened). So I called this morning (1/16) spoke with Joe he then told me he would check with the referral department and would call me back,… which he did and proceeded to give me an appointment for March while taking all my info for this appointment. During this conversation he told me he needed to make sure that the referral was in place, put me on hold and then a young women by the name of Sashi came on the line and told me (rudely) there was NO referral in place and I would need to call my pcp!! At this time I became irate and told her that I had already done this and gave her the number I was previously given and all the efforts I had already extended and she then told me that that was NOT the fax number and told me that if I didn't speak to her better that she was going to hang up and disconnect the call???!!! ALL this and I haven't even been to see the doctor yet. Never ever ever in all of my looooong years of life have I EVER been treated soooo disrespectful. I asked why I was given an appointment when the referral was not in place? She told me that they're supposed to give an appointment without the referral, yet that's NOT what happened which is what I told her and she had no answer to that. She then proceeded to give me another fax number and told me to have my pcp fax over the referral to this number. After hanging up, I sat there and thought long and hard to myself, if I was having these many issues without having even seen the doctor yet, then I don't think it would've gotten any easier if I needed further assistance with prescriptions, tests etc.. and thought, it's just NOT worth it!!! No matter how good this doctor may be, if I have to deal with this staff, I would rather go elsewhere. It's not like this is the only specialist in the field. So I called back, spoke with Jane and canceled my appointment. I cannot understand how it's possible that this is allowed and NOT addressed (check the other reviews)??!!! Are we really that desperate that we allow and perpetuate these actions and no one is held accountable??!!! Sadly, I was really looking forward to working with this doctor BUT NOT after having been treated the way I was and given all the incorrect and inconsistent information. Sorry, but for me it's just NOT WORTH IT!! You may want to look elsewhere, I know I am. I will also be contacting my insurance company to file a grievance. While the owners and doctors may not care to address this situation, I for one will!
