Dr. Judith Anne Gurdian, MD

Dr. Gurdian was very knowledgeable and helpful. She took the time to answer all of my questions around menopause and educate me around this topic. She has a great bedside manner and does not make you feel rushed.

Excellent personal and holistic attitude. Great attention to details and explained everything. Loved the sense of humor and the personal attention to details. Mostly - loved the fresh outlook at old problems and suggested new directions!

The sole reason I loved the practice. We need more attentive, sincere and caring people like her in this world. Specially in health care.

I have had Dr. Gurdian as my ob/gyn for over 37 years. She always is pleasant and professional. I also commend her staff.

So fed up with this practice. I have a disabled child with fragile health conditions, so I'm refusing to go to non-essential routine drs appts during the pandemic. I also have very little help caring for him being all of his programs are closed due to covid. I met with Dr Gurdian virtually which was a waste of time. Im fine. No problems but whatever. I wanted to stick to the year timeline. A few months later my bc prescription was not renewed, so I called her office. Dr gurdian's REMOTELY working nurse told me I had to come in for an in-person appointment to receive bc pills... mind you, I never had an abnormal exam in the 15 years I have been seeing her and never really had any disagreements with anyone at the office; I'm an easy patient; my mammo is scheduled within the next few weeks (essential routine). Dr gurdian will not return calls to explain to me why an in person routine appt/exam is necessary during the pandemic to receive bc pills, nor to explain why we even met… virtually. I am fully aware that research and current guidelines do not appear to support her demands, but I wanted to give her the chance to share her reasoning. Im not even that far past a year. She did have a clerical staff member call today who had no medical training and could still offer no valid reason for the required in person appt. The clerical staff member was sure to say, "it's your decision to come off birth control." Reality is, I have no choice in this. I'm being bullied for bc pills during a pandemic. I'm being backed into a corner and being forced to choose between bc and exposing my family. I'm not going to be forced to do something when the benefits don't outweigh the risks. Times are really tough for parents and caregivers. This office seems to be completely clueless. Yearly appointments are important, but I will be looking for a new dr. and office for my next one.

I've been a patient of Dr. Gurdian's for over 20 years and have the utmost trust and respect! Her whole staff is so wonderful.

So many docs now days just do one thing. She is an OB GYN but listens to everything I have to talk about and if she cannot help me will help me figure out where to go. I was having long time abdominal pain and she sent me to a pelvic floor PT who fixed a 10 year old problem.

Has been my doctor for years and I would never see anyone else. She is now Vice President at Shady Grove so they think well of her too

I am new to the area and am high risk. She carefully reviewed my history and picked up an issue that my old OB had missed. The high risk doctor said she probably saved my life
