Dr. Judith Ellen Kerpelman, MD

I wish I could give a no star rating. but she was my mom’s gyno and delivered me. And delivered me wrong via c section using the tools wrong putting a dent in my head that she said would resolve in a few days. Yeah it’s been 27 years it’s still there. I also feel like this caused my learning disability. So to say I’m mad is an understatement. I was in special Ed my entire middle and high school experience. I barely graduated on time.

She does not take time to explain things or make me feel comfortable. Every time I go to office , I see a different provider-which is maybe standard nowadays but does not feel personal. I don’t think she would recognize my face in public at all. Just not a warm and friendly doctor really.

I was very disappointed when I heard Dr. Krpelman was leaving her daily practice and pursuing something else in her career! I would give anything for her to return to her practice! I wish her nothing but the very best iwith whatever she pursues! Best of luck to you, Dr. Kerpelman, Marie Long

Dr. Kerpleman has always been extremely prompt and always spends as much time as necessary whenever I have needed her to answer questions or discuss any concerns I have

Very compassionate, listened closely, friendly

I am not at all comfortable confiding in her with anything embarrassing or being vulnerable as a patient. I felt that she was not interested in helping me understand specifics of my diagnosis. I always felt that she was more interested in getting out of the room as soon as possible, and that she was not interested in being a doctor at all. She also made me feel that any of my concerns were ridiculous, and was not helpful in finding out the cause to pain, etc. She just said that it'd probably go away. She's also often on vacation or unavailable.

Dr. Kerpelman has the most WONDERFUL way about her. I immediately felt at ease as I told her some problems that were not easy to share. She was very patient and understanding, asking pertinent questions to help her understand more of my medical issue. Every other OB/GYN I have gone to has never shown the concern Dr. Kerpleman had for me (and it was my first appointment with her). I would give her a hundred stars if I could!
