Dr. Judith Fekete Mcghee, MD

When I lived in Brandermill as a pre-teen and teenager, Dr. McGhee was my primary care physician. I looked forward to every visit because I would tell her what I had prior to her examining me thanks to the super thick medical dictionary that we had at home. I learned so many Latin terms. Dr. McGhee even measured my wrists to accurately predict that I would not grow taller than 5’4”. I am 5’2”. I can’t believe that her office is still in Market Square.

Dr. McGhee was my pediatrician from birth through adolescence, and now that I am almost 30, I am still disturbed by the way she treated me. I needed help with depression and anxiety/panic attacks in high school which was effecting my performance in school. At the age of 15, she told me (with my father sitting in the room) that if I didn't turn my grades around, I was going to be the reason that people like her had to waste all their tax dollars to put people like me on welfare. She then gave such a poor recommendation for a counselor that it actually made my condition worse. That was the last time I saw her. For the record, I am a successful college-educated professional that no longer battles depression, with no thanks to her.

Very rude said to my two yr old not to be dumbbc he was playing with toys while she was talking. Ever since that day he never went back. When you speak up she looks at you as though you are below her. Nurses were amazing. Her daughter at the desk is very rude and seen her soon after in the paper for being arrested. Not to mention they hardly have any ac or heat and it takes forever to be seen

The staff here is wonderful! Dr. McGhee, however, has a horrible bedside manner.

I took my daughter here for the first time for a 4 month check-up and I will NOT be taking her back again. Dr. Mcghee is very rude with little to no bedside manner. She barely touched my baby throughout the entire exam. This was my first time visiting this office and she did not make me feel welcome at all; I wasn't even comfortable asking her questions which is very important for a young first time mother. The office is also very out of date and needs a serious office improvement. If you want quality pediatric services for your little one Dr. Mcghee at Brandermill Pediatrics is not the place to go.

Have taken my children to Dr McGhee for years and wouldn't change.

As wonderful as the rest of the staff are, Dr McGee is a terrible Dr, she misses things, she is always rushing through appointments, and leaves patients waiting for far to long, I can accept this once in awhile I understand some other patients may be more critical but my last 3 appointments only one of them has we been seen in less that 50 minutes.
