Dr. Judith Evelyn Riley

I came to Dr. Riley's office to establish GYN care, and in the initial paperwork filled out a very intrusive questionnaire. Due to my recent symptoms, Dr. Riley recommended an endometrial biopsy. A couple weeks later during that very invasive, painful and scary procedure (I was terrified and she knew this), and at that crucial moment â?? she began asking me very intimate questions about a recent personal tragedy. Then she asked me why I was crying, speaking to me in a patronizing tone, as if she was speaking to a 10-year-old girl. I felt attacked from all sides, literally, in a most vulnerable position. I have been scarred emotionally since that trauma and haven't been able to trust another GYN since then. This person should not be allowed to practice medicine.

This doctor is one of the rudest doctors I have ever been to. I left her office feeling like I was put through the ringer. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy

Two of my family members had said how wonderful Dr. Riley is, and i can't understand why. She has a "I know it all " attitude and treated me like a 2 year old. She has no empathy whatsoever. My major concerns were looked over, and she fixated and obsessed over something completely different. I am cancelling my next appointment with her and am not rescheduling. I will find someone who has respect and listens to me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Riley's for almost 15 years and she is, without a doubt, one of the best doctors I have ever had. She is a great diagnostician and is incredibly knowledgable about her field, and is also a person with a great deal of common sense. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a really good gynecologist.

I wish that Dr Riley could be my primary care physician! She takes her time with you & truly cares for her patients. Dr Riley delivered both of my children & monitored me closely each time. She recognized a blood pressure issue later in my first pregnancy & was quick to react for both my baby & my safety. I would highly recommend her!

Absolutely makes me feel comfortable and confident; even when I was going to be a teen mother. I would recommend her. The staff is friendly and she always makes sure you feel at easy and answers any questions you may have.

Absolutely loved Dr Riley she was the best!

She is very rude and gets defensive when you ask questions. I brought up questions i had researched from reliable web sources and she didn't seem to like that at all. I have minor anxiety, which increases with doctors; she was very condescending about that. She once gave me a refill on anti-anxiety meds and asked "what are you so worried about"? in a very condescending, rather than caring manner. She was not at all concerned about breast lumps that my regular practitioner was very concerned about and who sent me to a breast surgeon for review. Wanted to put me on the pill when my regular practitioner was opposed to it at my age with risk of stroke.

Dr Riley delivered my second child. She would only schedule an induction 1 week earlier than my due date even though I wanted two weeks because I know I never go 40 weeks. My baby was getting large and me being very petite I was worried about shoulder dysplasia. Well I went into labor a day before my scheduled induction. I could hear the nurses talking about not wanting to call Dr. Riley in early because she gets upset if she misses her morning swim. I was pretty perturbed having to wait it out (18 hours labor with 2nd kid) for her to arrive at 7:30am. (I delivered a 8.5lb baby by vacuum suction at 7:50am) Afterwards, Dr Riley refused to give me a prescription for pain meds for the extreme cramping that follows childbirth even though the hospital gave it to me no questions asked. The doctor for my first child gave me a prescription for pain meds to take home. I honestly stayed as long as I could in the hospital just to get pain meds. (I'm an upper class business owner - not a… drug user!) No one warned me the pain gets more intense with each childbirth. I wasn't even really breast feeding (just pumping nothing) plus my baby was getting formula because he was under bili lights all day. After leaving the hospital I called her to tell her Tylenol and Ibuprofen didn't touch the pain and she basically told me their was nothing she could give me which made me just cry more. I will never go back to her. She must of been trained by the hardcore military.

I am a very friendly, happy person. Dr. Riley was my doctor two years ago, when I was pregnant with my son. I was 17, and had 100% support of my mother. She'd go to the appointments with me, and I was very excited for my coming baby. Dr. Riley would always come into the room without a smile, get right to business, and when I'd try to talk with her, I'd get nothing. Then after my exam, she'd walk into the next room to see the next patient, and she walk in giggling and chatting about something they had discussed in a prior meeting. It used to make me sick how bad she used to make me feel. I don't know what I ever did to her.
