No email to transfer current blood tests from cardiologist including thyroid. This means I’d have to pay for additional bloodwork. The form was interested in how much of my deductible was satisfied. Not a good sign. I’ve been to three other endos (hoping for a successful cure for dry skin fatigue and rapid hairloss) and that question never came up. Nor from any other doctor. I said thank you but I’m leaviving. Something isn’t right. You would think they would offer to refund the copay or lower it to a $25 charge for a no show. Very disappointed in their interpretation of the hippo ratio oath.

I was a patient advocate and had to communicate with the office staff a few times. The lady answering the phone, "Nancy", is very sarcastic, unhelpful and I felt as though I was bothering her each time I called. Her tone was unwelcoming. At times, I would just label her as rude. Very disappointing for this to be the first interaction and representation of your practice.

Dr Black and his team are some of the only medical professionals I truly trust. He and his team go above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of. I genuinely appreciate and love everyone who works in this office because they have always made me feel like a human being and not just a number.

Dr Black is highly intelligent and knowledgeable regarding all endocrine diseases. He is also personable and cares about his patients.

Saw Dr. Black. Very nice man, did a lot of explaining, said he could help, and told me I needed some testing done. Got that done in Atlanta. Then told me I needed 2 more tests to get insurance approval for treatment. Insurance is denying testing because the doctor's office can't seen submit the information needed to the insurance. They say they are sending it in, but insurance never gets it. I think the doctor's fax is screwed up or something because now I am experiencing the same issue with the last blood work I had done. The doctor's office didn't put the diagnosis code on the requisition. Now I am in a fight to get that bill paid. The office staff is totally incompetent and extremely rude. They are disrespectful with no desire to help anyone. Had I known this initially, would have never driven 4 hours to see Dr. Black. He is a nice guy, but the rest of his office sucks.

appointment with this Doc I must say was very good Iam so happy I decided to see him reading some of the reviews could make a some one a little hesitant, Dr Black and his staff werer awsome the front office staff was pleasant and very helpful

Awful! I went to see Dr. Black because i am with a hair loss and he prescribed me a blood test to check my thyroid. Took 10 days to receive the result. After calling many times someone finally told they have my results. Went to see him and he told me that I need to do a Cortrysyn Stim Test. Took 2 weeks from someone in his office send the order to the Northside Hospital lab. When I called Northside the next available time was in one week. Did the blood work, another 14 days pass. Finally got the results back because I was calling... scheduled my appointment the same day. When I saw Dr. Black he tells me that the lab at the Northside didn't do 2 of the required blood test ð??£ you can imagine my frustations. This week is the 2nd week since I saw him and no one has call me to reschedule my test that they messed up. Called again today and nothing. I give up! He doesn't trust his team. He does everything and takes forever to have things done. Scheduled appointment with another doctor.… I will be bald if I keep waiting for this doctor.ð???

I used to go to Dr Black many years ago. I adored him; he always asked about and we discussed what books we were each reading. I live in Carrollton and drove into Atlanta to see him at least twice a year. Eventually the traffic got to me and I used my general doctor for my thyroid issues. After 10 years of using my general doctor, I just went to see him yesterday and I feel confident my thyroid and some related issues will be taken care of by him. He thoroughly looks at the whole picture to find the root of a problem. And he is still as delightful as ever!

i had a horrible experience with doctor and he's staffs, so finally I went to see my primary doctor to change to another doctor.
