Meet Dr. Connell
    Dr. Judson T. Connell is a graduate of The Medical College of Georgia and The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). Dr. Connell's advanced training and 20 years of private practice experience are addtional benefits offered at Exceptional Dentistry at John's Creek. He has a reputation of establishing relationships with his patients and listening to thier needs or concerns. It is important to him that the patients are treated in the way they wish they could be treated in the dental office.
    Dr. Connell has advanced training in cosmetics from LVI where many of Hollywood's stars go to obtain their smile make-overs.. Only 2% of dentists nation wide obtain this level of formal training in dental cosmetics. He also has a background in art and he produces may pieces of art in his spare time. He loves the artistic aspect of dentistry so he does most of his own labwork so he has more control over the esthetic outcomes. He even has his own …photography studio in his office and takes his own photos.
  Dr. Connell is certified CEREC provider where he can create single visit all porcelain crowns and veneers in a single visit. He is certified in providing 6 Month Braces where he is able to correct mis-aligned teeth with-in six monts. For those who choose not to have orthodontic brackets on their teeth he is also a certified provider of Cear Correct which utilizes clear aligners to straighten teeth (Invisilign). Dr. Connell is also a certified in Oral Conscious Sedation by which the fearful patient can overcome the obstacle which keeps them from obtaining optimal dental care. Dr. Connell is ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support) certified which enalbles him to better care for any emergencies that coud arrive in his office.
    Dr. Connell grew up in Covington, Ga and graduated from George Walton Academy in 1983. From there he attended Mars Hill College with a football scholorship where he performed as a running back. There he studied art, photography and received a B.S. Chemistry in 1987. The combination of science and art background led him to the Medical College of Georgia where he received his Doctorate of Dentistry in 1991. He established a practice, Premier Dental Designs near Savannah and practiced there for 15 years until he decided to relocate closer to home. He attended and graduated from the Las Vegas Institute in Summerlin, NV. Dr. Connell established Exceptional Dentistry at John's Creek in 2005 where he has created the practice of his dreams. He is a member of The American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also a member of  the prestigious International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics. Only the top 1% of dentists worldwide are members of this orgainzation.
    Dr. Connell has been married to Elaine for 23 years. Elaine works in the office in bookkeeping and dental assisting. They have two beautiful daughters, Lauren and Logan, who are 15 and 10 years old. Dr. Connell enjoys art, coaching girls softball, weight training, fishing, hunting attending rock concerts with his wife and keeping up with UGA football. His girls enjoy horseback riding and playing softball. He and his family attend and are involved at The Family Church in Sugar Hill.
