Dr. Judy Chiu, DO

I called up to set an appointment to see Dr Judy after reading a lot of good reviews about her . I am on visitor pass .I will only be here less than 10 months a year. I was thinking since I am here , it’s better to get a PCD, so , Dr Judy is in my priority list as I am more at home with a lady doctor but unfortunately she is not taking new patient . HHC , you should have updated your website which doctor is not taking new patient just not for us to put our hopes too high . If Dr Judy is reading this review , I hope you can take one more patient . Thanks in advance ! CheamCT

I am 83 and have seen many docs in my time, but Dr. Judy Chiu is be far the best primary doc that I have seen. I love her strength, her sureness, and her competency. She is extremely capable and has a phenomenal bedside manner ... she takes her time and listens well. I just wish that Hartford Health Care wouldn't load her with so many patients that it's hard to get to see her.

Dr. chiu is extremely smart, has patience & she investigates symptoms to come to a valid diagnosis. I have referred to her many times and everyone I send to her feels confident in her ability & well cared for.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Chiu for years. She listens well, asks questions, has diagnosed me accurately, does appropriate testing, follows up and truly cares about her patients.

Dr. Chiu is very thorough and always takes the time to review all test results and answer any questions I had. She also offers various options to deal with any issue and involves me in the course of action selected. I highly recommend Dr. Chiu.

Dr Chiu is fantastic! So warm and caring. I would recommend her to anyone who asks me who my PCP is.

She is a great doctor. Takes her time with you and answers any questions you may have. She also has a great personality.

Very basic doctor. She does not have current medicine knowledge such as vaccines required in this day and age. She does not address her mistake. She is very quick to write referrals, so she does not have to worry about patients' serious problem. She likes to do just the basic medicine work which nurse can do very efficiently. I had very bad experience with her, and I am waiting to know what happened. But I guess, it is everybody's fault but hers.

Dr. Chiu is always accomodating, pleasant, knowledgeable and willing to listen. She has gone out of her way to assist me in obtaining the contacts and care I am looking for.
