Dr. Judy Ann Dudum, MD

No long wait time after I got in the examination room. Very pleasant personality. Exam was professional, quick and proficient with no embarrassing moments.

This doctor is not helpful at all but rather abrasive and condicending. This was my first time I saw her and she storms in the room saying my blood pressure is way too high and saying she “isn’t prescribing me any pills.” This was the first time I’ve ever met this woman and I was going in to find out more information about other types of birth control, not pills. I’ve never even been on any sort of “pill” other than birth control. She tells me I can’t do the IUD and so I ask about the Nuvaring. She says she’ll prescribe it but that I should “probably ask my own doctor if it’s okay for me.” I’m getting kicked off my dad’s insurance and my work doesn’t cover birth control. She was absolutely not helpful at all and I left in tears. I tried asking her how to put in the Nuvaring and she said simply, “like a tampon.” She also said to use it 2 days into my period, which is also incorrect. She also wrote a prescription for 1 month, when I explicitly told her I get off my dad’s insurance in a… month. Absolutely terrible.

I gave her a 3 star because her bedside manner isn’t the most fantastic, but she did a great job with my emergency csection and that went well. Prior to getting into the operating room, she said “this is the point you lose all of your dignity and realize this isn’t all glamorous” all while I’m having several nurses help me undress, put in a catheter and put in two iv’s. I was like thanks? Just what I need to hear while I’m about to have my baby ripped out of my body and my blood pressure is sky high from preeclampsia. I was a nervous wreck and she didn’t do much to ease the situation which is possibly why I had a straight up panic attack on the operating table. However my son was born healthy and I was fine, so that I will forever be thankful for.

Somewhat condescending and very sure of herself and her diagnosis. Talks down to you when you ask questions. Seems knowledgeable thought and I am trying to trust her judgement in my treatment plan.

Dr. Dudum delivered all 3 of my children and now sees my oldest daughter. She puts you at ease with everything she does. She speaks to you on a personal level so that you understand. She follows up with phone calls personally. There is no other OB better than her!

Among other issues, did not listen and made me feel like a number - no care or concern for me as a person.

I had seen her for about 3 years. Didnt have too many complaints. I had a terrible uti and couldnt get in to see her for weeks. I called and left many messages so i could ask her to give me antibiotic and keep my appt as a follow up to make sure evrything was okay and make sure it qas gone. I heard nothing back. She then tells me afyer i get in i have an std which i have neber heard of n prescrived me something for that but not for a uti. i asked her what it was and if it wad an std she said yes and left as if i was going to pass it on to her from being in the same room.. I was left scared and clueless at 19. I was not sure jow i could have gotten it unless my 4 year relationship meant i was being cheated on. I called her twice a day for the next week and didnt hear back. it ruined my relationship. i finally went to her office and they said she wasnt in when i lnew she was so i had to get ahold of somebody who found someone ect just got go to my files and it turned out i never had an… std. I had a uti as i expected. i then had to get another doctor to give me antibiotics for my uti. still nevwr heard from her. sorry about typos im writing from my phone.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! Wouldn't be surprised if there were many sanctions filed against her. Would not recommend her to my worst enemy.

She's a nice lady. She plays it safe. I don't think her bedside manner was atrocious. So what she didn't hug you? She's your doctor not your mom. As for her "forgetfulness" she sees how many patients? How could she possibly remember? I will admit that her not remembering me made me feel like she didn't know me enough to care. But if you think about it you would probably forget, too. She does her job the right way. She delivered my son and will be delivering my daughter next month via cesarean. I did seek out a midwife this time around because I wanted to try a "natural" birth but unfortunately it's not going to play out that way. I'm grateful for Dr. D. :-)

I think Dr. Dudum is very good! She delivered both of my little girls. Also when I was in labor with my second daughter she called all day long to check on my progress. When she found out I was progressing faster than she expected she came in two hours early from the time she was scheduled just to make sure she was there to deliver my baby. I trust her completely. If you need her to take time with you she will but if there is not a need to she is very quick. When relating to a gynecology appt this is not a bad thing! I would highly recommend her and have.
