Dr. Judy Lynn Finney, MD

It troubles me greatly to read the negative reviews about Dr. Finney. She was highly recommended to me by my heart transplant surgeon in 1991 to be my local follow-up cardiologist. I spent over 10 years in her care until I moved from the area and found her to be a very caring and knowledgeable physician. She always spent time to hear my questions and give me good advise. She was always highly regarded by her colleagues and other transplant patients.

The whole process was nearly unbearable, from the ridiculous wait to Finneys condescending behavior toward me, like I was so much trash taking up her time. Do yourself a favor and use a different Doctor.

I had a transesophogeal echo scheduled at the hospital w/ her w/ anesthesia. she was not my reg dr but was part of the group i go to. she arrived and was not aware i was supposed to have anesthesia because i could not swallow the scope. she argued w/ me when i told her that and even the nurses argued w/ her. she then cancelled the anesthesilogist that had already arrived and did it without. she tried twice to shove the tube down my throat and could not. my throat is sore and bleeding and she walked out and said, "Forget it" and then was very rude to my family in the waiting room. The nurses were horrified at how it went and her office apologized profusely and promised they would reschedule with anesthesia as MY dr had written and said that I would not have to see her again. Worst dr I have ever worked with and would NEVER recommend her to anyone.

Incompetence personified.

I am a patient with Dr. Finney. I went into her office and was not the most pleasent person. I was told that I needed to go to the hospital immediatly and I argued with her. She was not backing down with me. I was going wether O wanted to or not. I am alive today because this spunky doctor did not take no for an answer. I am sorry to hear of the person that did not have a good appointment with her. Maybe that person needs to know she is trying to saves lives. Remember she is not here to be our friend she is here to make sure we stay alive to be with our family and friends. For that I thank her.

Very professional, thorough and efficient. Cares about her patients. Would refer my family to her. Excellent cardiologist!

absolutely horrible bedside manner. Huffed and puffed, called me a liar, condescending, insulting, and all around very unpleasant. Would NEVER recommend to anyone. She is a mad old battle axe. She is rude, superior, abrupt and awful. Thinks a lot of herself.
