Dr. Judy Deivernois Ross

I went to my regular doctor suspecting that I had a hernia. He diagnosed me with 2 and told me that I would need surgery to repair them. He gave me a couple names of surgeons to call, Dr. Ross being one of them. I made an appointment with Dr. Ross. Upon examining me, she said she "wasn't convinced" that I had hernias and ordered me to get a CT scan. I got the CT scan, costing $300 due to insurance deductible. After not hearing back for a week, I called Dr. Ross's office and was told I'd have to make an appointment to get the results. After telling them I would not come in for the results and to just tell me on the phone, the secretary rudely said the scane showed nothing. I went back to my regular doctor. He told me once again that I had 2 hernias and that he had never heard of getting a CT scan to diagnose hernias. Finally, I went to another surgeon personally recommended by my doctor and have nothing but great things to say about that surgeon. I wish I would have gone to him in the… first place so that I wouldn't have wasted my time, money, and pain on Dr. Ross.

Dr. Ross is an excellent surgeon who shows genuine care and compassion for her patients. She took excellent care of me before, during and after my surgery. Her caring personality and kind words helped to put me at ease throughout my surgical process. I highly recommend her.
