She discussed my health records loudly and passed judgment on my conditions with nurses outside my door immediately before seeing me. She then proceeded to accuse me of "doctor shopping" even though she was the only one who has ever prescribed me a controlled substance for panic attacks (ONCE). Avoid her at all costs.

I saw Dr. Bemer for a rabies concern after being bitten by an unknown dog. Earlier I had spoken with a few nurses who urged me to schedule an appointment to consult about a potential rabies vaccination. In this appointment, Dr. Bemer exhumed annoyance with my appointment. Despite describing my previous conversations, she was short and disinterested in my concerns. She repeatedly told me to call the owners of the dog (despite my telling her that I don’t have their number), stating “well what do you want me to do about it” (again this was after I explained that I wanted to know her recommendations for treatment), and then quickly left to talk with the nurses. After this unsettling appointment, I was speaking with a colleague who had a similar experience with her. I would not recommend Dr. Bemer to anyone I know, given how I was treated by her.
